DECEMBER •Lucan Irish and Exeter Hawks neck and neck for first place in Jr. D's Morenz Division. •Zurich native Melanie Culbert wins ninegold medals at the Trent Quaker invitational swim meet. •The Exeter Sr." Tyke Golden Hawks hockey team hosts the Port Huron (Mich.) Sherwoods hockey team sits atop the league standings in only their second season back. •The Stephen Twp. midget hockey team wins the 'A' final of the Shallow Lake tourna- ment. `Hensall's Jeff Campbell, a former Exeter Hawk, leads all Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (Jr. B) scorers with over 50 goals. !Exeter Minor Hockey hosts the ,first Lawrence Cole Memorial Local League and A/E tourna- ments at South Huron Rec Centreand Hensall Arena.
