(50) GIBBONS - Suddenly, at Grey Bruce Regional Health Center, Owen Sound, on Sunday, December 12, 1999, Cecil Eric Gibbons of Owen Sound, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Thelma Theresa (Lovell). Dear father of John Gibbons and his wife Charmaine of Georgetown, Carol Johnston and her husband Bob and Susan Semple and her husband Keith, all of Zurich. Loving grandfather of Paul and Lynn Johnston, Mark and Joanne Johnston, Stephen and David Gibbons and Chris and Julie Semple. Dear great-grandfather of Brandon, Kenzie and Megan Johnston. Also the people who dropped in for a piece of cake and cup of coffee. Special thanks to Jean Estey for her help at the house. Also thanks to our family who took us out to dinner in a limousine. Shirlee's 64 year journey on earth has ended and her new journey in heaven has begun on December 8, 1999. We shall miss her endearing smile and ever sense of humour. Beloved wife of Roy Kroeger of Kitchener. Shirlee was a caring and devoted mother to her 3 daughters, Beverley Finnen of Kitchener, Kelly Walter and her husband Dennis of Maryhill, and Jodi Schmidt and her husband Mark of Drumbo. Dear Grandma to Ryan Walter and Virginia Hess. Will be remembered by her sister Sylvia Smith and her husband Jerry of Exeter, and her brother Lorne Looker of Carlisle. We are not the only ones grieving as many friends and relatives are feeling the family's loss. Predeceased by her sister Olive Voigt and hes husband Oscar, and her parents David and Caroline Looker.
