six in a row for the Lucan
Jr. D Irish.
The Irish won one game
and tied another last
week to extend their
unbeaten streak to six
games.
On Friday the Irish
slipped by Seaforth 4-3.
Seaforth scored the only
goal of the first period
with 1:39 remaining.
Lucan stormed back in
the second and scored the
next three goals. Kevin
Dunbar scored at 4:50
from Chad Greenlee and
Adam Wagner. Then Scott
Phillips scored at 6:39
from Mike Burns and
Matt Thompson. Ben
Dobbie put the Irish up by
two by scoring on the
powerplay at 9:11 from
Jason Amey and Roy
Davis.
Seaforth got one back
just 11 seconds and tied
the game with 1:16 left in
the period.
Lucan scored the win-
ning and only goal of the
third period. Ed Etheridge
notched it on the power-
play from Chad Greenlee
and Phillips 3:16 into the
frame.
The Irish threw 39 shots
at the Seaforth netminder
while Lucan's Jon
Wickens saw 18 shots.
Irish coach Bill Bourne
said his squad played well
and put in a strong effort.

behind and scored with
eight seconds left in the
game to manage a 5-5 tie
