Funactivitiesplanned at SHDHS
Hello and welcome to
the final edition of the
Panther Profile for 1999!
It's hard to believe
Christmas is almost here
and to put everyone in the
mood for the holidays the
Student Council is plan-
ning a day of fun activities
on the last day of classes
before Christmas.
The morning will consist
of an assembly and short-
ened classes. The after-
noon will be activities
such as volleyball, road
hockey, euchre and a
movie. If any students
wish to participate in the
assembly in the form of a
skit ora band they must
sign up outside the music
room by tomorrow. The
day will be a lot of fun
and I hope everyone
sticks around to enjoy it!
Today and tomorrow
are the final days to buy
Christmas Kisses. If you
wish to send one to a
friend, they will be avail-
able in the main foyer at
lunch for 25 cents.
Tomorrow is the day
when students who
donated to the Christmas
Bureau get the afternoon
off to support either the
girls' hockey team or the
girls' volleyball teams.
Remember to bring your
ticket with you tomorrow

yours soon.
Graduates from last
year are also welcome to
come in and pick theirs
up.
The Guidance Office has
asked me to announce
they will be talking to the
Grade 10's in our school
about careers. They hope
to be able to get some
idea of what the younger
students in our school
think about the future.
This will be a great help
for these students when it
comes time to pick a pro-
gram at a university or
college.
College Applications are
also due to the Guidance
Office on Dec. 20.
Applications cost $65 and

cheque or money order.
If there are any problems
talk to one of the

away!
That's all for me and I
hope everyone has a
