HURON CTY. — If you're heading north, watch out
for 'dem deer.
That's the message from Huron OPP Const. Don
Shropshall after there were another 48 deer -vehicle
collisions in the county in November. The total deer
accidents in the county for the last 11 months rests at
209.
Shropshall said most of the deer collisions took place
in the north part of the county with some taking place
in the central zone between Clinton and Seaforth.
He is requesting all motorists to take special care
during the early morning hours just before dawn and
again during the hours just after dusk when 90 per
cent of the accidents have happened. Shropshall added
when you see one deer there are probably more since
they usually travel in groups.
Areas where you most likely will see deer is where
