Dinner guests attend 35th anniversary

SAINTSBURY - On. Sunday,
November 28, the lst Sunday in
Adv it, The Rev. Stanley Jay was
cele ant for the Holy Eucharist
and the service of Holy Baptism at
St. Patrick's. Children's focus given
by. Rev. Jay was "Looking for the
Coning of Christ" Nick Vaessen a
visit from l ~e�9a11, assisted with
the lighting of the 1st candle in the
AdVent Wreath for "Hope".

Melanie Elizabeth and Adam Lee
children of Kevin and Lisa Van
Schaick and brother Alex were
baptised and welcomed into the
church. Godparents were Sally and
Jeff Vaessen of Hensall and Nick
and Nancy Hewitson of Denfield.
Bob MacGillivray led in prayers for
the candidates. Katie -Scarlett
MacGillivray was server for the ser-
vice.
Hazel Davis visited Gote
Wennestrom and Pat Skinner on
Saturday at the Exeter V'lla.
Arnold and Rose Cunningham
were dinner guests of Ted and
Maurleen Oliver of St. Marys on
Sunday, as the Cunninghams cele-
brated their 35th Wedding
Anniversary.

Stolen pick-
up
found in

VANASTRA — A truck
that was stolen from a
Clinton home was found
in Vanastra on Nov. 26.
The white '87 Ford
was reported stolen to
the Huron OPP at about
7:45 a.m. the same day,
Const. Don Shropshall
said. The pickup's
owner lent the vehicle to
an employee who was
going to move his
grandfather in Clinton.
The truck had been left
unlocked with the keys
inside.
The truck was found
abandoned on property
belonging to Wilker
Boats on Winnipeg Ave.

of mittens for St. Paul's Cathedral in London to
donate to needy families.This is the fourth year the
spry 83-year.old has undertaken the ambitious pro-
ject.This year, she made extra aduk-sized mittens.
