Ontario Open qualification data set By Ron Dann ZURICH - The Bluewater 5 Pin Bowlers' Association's zone rolloffs schedule has been set for bowlers who hope to quali- fy to represent Bluewater in the Ontario Five pin Bowlers' Association (O.F.P.B.A.) Provincial Open Championships for the Sidney L. Morris Awards April 19-22 at ' Hamilton. Entries are avail- able at all bowling centres. The first 10 games of the zone rolloffs will begin at 9 a.m. Dec. 5 at Zurich Town and Country and Clinton Crown lanes. The final 10 games will be completed Dec. 12 at Owen Sou4 Westside and Meaford lanes beginning at 9 a.m. The top nine men, the top nine women and the next highest qualifier (either male or female), based on total 20 game pinfall, will advance to the Open Championships. Ontario Open winners will then move on to com- pete against all the other provinces in the 2000 Canadian 5 Pin Association National finals May 24-27. CBC Match Play The Quarter Finals of the Molson's National Five Pin match play championship is scheduled for Sat. at 12 noon on the Channel 5.
