A large crowd enjoyed the Amabile Boys Chair of London on Sunday evening in the United Church. Get well wishes go to Dorothy Parker. Tracey -Annette Whitson-Babro was the minister at Hensall Carmel Presbyterian Church with Joyce Pepper playing the organ. The offering was received by Harry Smith and Robert Bell. A social time was enjoyed on Sunday afternoon 'at their church. Hensall and District Horticultural Society held their Christmas meeting on Nov. 16 at Hensall United Church. A pot luck supper was enjoyed com- plete with turkey and cranberries. Following the meal Liz Putherbough shard her artistic talents using flowers and tree branches. Davis gAINTSBURY CORRESPONDENT SAINTSBURY - St. Patrick's celebrated their Reign of Christ service on Saturday evening at 7 p.m., November 20 with Margaret Carroll leading the ser- vice. Rose Cunningham assisted with the scripture readings. The children's focus and message were based on the holy gospel entitled "An Unrecognized Christ." The .congregation and friends enjoyerl a surprise party honouring Caleb and Corbin MacGillivray on their 12th birthday. They spent Sunday visiting their aunt Anne Stevenson in Toronto, accompanied by their dad Bob and sister Courtney. St. Patrick's Church will celebrate the Holy Eucharist on November 28 at 10:30 a.m. with The Rev. Stanley Jay as officient. Margaret Carroll enjoyed several outings to celebrate her 65th birthday this week. Thursday she was guest of Edythe Mugford of St. Marys. Harley Davis was weekend visitor with his aunt and uncle Linda and Con Foran and family of Centralia. On Friday, several school friends of Travis and Starr Davis visited for dinner and the evening at the Davis family farm. Snowmobilers are required to use direct routes in to and out of the village. Co-operation regarding these restric- tions is appreciated by ail residents. Parking is restricted at this time of year. Parking is prohibit- ed from the hours of 2 a.m. - 7 a.m., on all streets in the Village of Hensall. Violators will be ticketed.
