Grand Bend U.C.W. had decorated the sanc- tuary to illustrate the meeting theme 'Tell Us The Story', and comfort- able night wear was worn by those attend- ing. Many brought their favourite teddy bear and storybook and these were used as group dis- cussion starters, sharing the stories of the special personal items. Theme speaker Pastor Heather Scott, minister of the Centralia -Zion West Pastoral charge, shared a monologue of Leah's story, based on Genesis 29 and 30 and Psalm 90. Carolyn Johns of Thames Road-Elimville, and Huron Perth U.C.W. President Margaret Hern guided the women through many other sto ries, told by personal faith reflection, hymns, video and sharing. Exeter U.C.W. enter- tained with a lively fash- ion show, telling the sto- ries of their night wear. One nightie modeled by Ethel Pooley dated to the late 1800's. A 'Veggie Tale' about Daniel in the Lion's Den was enjoyed and the arrival of the 'Sister Act' choir to entertain topped off the evening's program.
