Churches represented were St. James, Stratford; St. Stephen's, Stratford; St. James, St. Marys; Christ Church, Listowel; St. Paul's, Kirkton; Trinity Church, Mitchell; and St. Thomas, Owen Sound. St. Patrick's celebrated their Evening Prayer Service on October 16 at 7 p.m. with Rose Cunningham leading the service and giving a mes- sage entitled "Pulled in Two Directions". An invitation was read for an evening of gospel music, on October 24 at 7 p.m. at Crediton United Church. A letter was also read from the Daily Bread program asking for help with donations of canned goods and financial sup- port. A service of Morning Prayer will be held next Sunday at 10:30 a.m., October 24. A short meet- ing will be held following church to make last minute plans for October 31 at 10;30 a.m. when The Right Reverend C. Robert Townshend will visit St. Patrick's to cele- brate and preach. The Rev. Stanley JP y will lead the Thanksgi v n,.; on the Anniversary of a Parish Service.
