Agriculture Society's field EXETER - Final results have been tab- ulated for the field crop competition held annually by the Exeter Agricultural Society. There were 15 competitors this year vying for points in five categories. Minister Heather Scott led the worship on this special occasion. Piano and organ accompani- ment was provided by Judy Mills and Marjorie Johns. Guest musician. Leona McBride played the trumpet during worship. The children of the Sunday School per- formed a song in addition to the anthem by the reg- ular. choir. Following worship, everyone enjoyed a time of food and fellowship hosted by the Session. The community extends prayers and sympathy to the family of .Howard Johns. Upcoming activities The South Huron U.C.W. Fall Rally will be held Oct. 21 at Crediton United Church at .6:30 p.m. The theme .for the rally is 'Tell Us the Story' with Heather Scott as the guest • storyteller. Everyone is requested to wear their favourite nightie,_ .,pyjamas or nightshirt or `boxers aiNd to bring a children's sto- rybook or teddy bear. � TOVOTA Participants are also asked to read Psalm 90 and Geis 29 and 30 before the rally. World Food Sunday will be recognized at Centralia United Church on October 24. There will be a special offering for the South Huron Food Grains Bank.
