Commemorating 10 years
The Exeter Villa and Retirement Home planted a tree last week to commemorate
Dr. Donald Ecker's 10 years of service as the advisory physician at the Villa.

Agriculture Society's field
EXETER - Final results have been tab-
ulated for the field crop competition held
annually by the Exeter Agricultural
Society. There were 15 competitors this
year vying for points in five categories.

Fun Night planned in Centralia

CENTRALIA - Centralia
United Church celebrated
their anniversary on
October 17, joining in
worship with members of
Zion congregation.
Minister Heather Scott
led the worship on this
special occasion. Piano
and organ accompani-
ment was provided by
Judy Mills and Marjorie
Johns.
Guest musician. Leona
McBride played the
trumpet during worship.
The children of the
Sunday School per-
formed a song in addition
to the anthem by the reg-
ular. choir.
Following worship,
everyone enjoyed a time
of food and fellowship
hosted by the Session.
The community extends
prayers and sympathy to
the family of .Howard
Johns.
Upcoming activities
The South Huron
U.C.W. Fall Rally will be
held Oct. 21 at Crediton
United Church at .6:30
p.m. The theme .for the
rally is 'Tell Us the Story'
with Heather Scott as the
guest • storyteller.

to bring a children's sto-
rybook or teddy bear.
