Ingersoll resident Adrian Keet visited Exeter last Wednesday as part of his 600
kilometre Walk for Life through Ontario. Keet said he is trying to raise money and
awareness for the "respect for the dignity and sanctity of human life." While most
consider pro -lifers to be mainly concerned with abortion, Keet said he is trying to
focus on euthanasia with his walk. He said he's hoping to protect the weakest
members of society. Keet started his walk on Sept. 13 in Ingersoll, travelled to
Midland and stopped in Exeter on his way back to Ingersoll. He was to finish his
walk last weekend.Walk organizer Alex Schadenberg said the walk will probably
raise $15,000 for pro-life awareness. Keet, 79, walks between 26-26 kilometres a
day. Pictured from left are Schadenberg, pro-life supporter Nellie Mommersteeg,
Keet and pro -lifer Mary Smits. Keet said he feels good and is happy with how the
public has supported him.
