one person had a little too
much fun at the '99
International Plowing
Match north of Dashwood
on Friday.
Stephen VanHevei, 33-,
of Bornholm is charged
with assault after punch-
ing a security guard in the
head and scratching him,
London OPP Const. Myra
Rusk said.
At about 7 p.m., two
men went on to the beer
tent stage where a musi-
cal act's equipment was
stored. The security
guard asked the men to
leave and the first did
immediately. The second
man didn't leave and had
to be escorted out of tent.
Rusk said the man then
scuffled with the security
guard and several people
had to get involved to
subdue the man.

Exeter court on Oct. 28.
