' Centralia United Church On Sunday, Sept. 19, Minister Heather Scott led worship at Centralia United Church. Michelle Underhill assisted during the service in lighting the Christ Candle. Judy Mills, Lois Wilson, and Minister Scott provid- ed a lovely anthem, accompanied by Marjorie Johns. Minister Scott's sermon was entitled God's Annoying Way. Prayers were offered during worship for Mel Whitaker, for the family of Howard Johns 'and for Monkton Pastoral Charge, Congregation members from Centralia are invited to join Zion United Church for their anniversary cel- ebration Sept. 26. The Woodham Quartet will share their gift of music during worship which will begin at 11 a.m. The Sunday School will Just a Hot Dog Luncheon following worship, and donations will be accepted to • assist with disaster relief work in Turkey. Several more attended the meeting at 2 p.m. Harriet Vandeborne and Aileen Knip of the Diabetes treatment centre gave a most informative_ presentation on diabetes.
