The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority advises that, in coopera- tion with the municipali- ties of Exeter and Usborne, this interrup- tion is due to preventa- tive maintenance work on Morrisonf Dam. Part of this work will involve repairing and resurfacing the bridge deck and replacing the bridge deck curbs. "Due to the fact that the existing bridge is narrow, it is not practical to maintain an open lane while work is being done," says Alec Scott of. the ABCA. The estimated time . to complete 'the project is eight weeks barring any weather and/or construc- tion delays. The construction com- pany of Alscott ' and Associates of London has been awarded the con- tract for the project which also includes repairs to the stilling basin retaining walls. Local residents, busi- nesses, emergency ser- vices, school board and the traffic committee for the upcoming Plowing Match have been noti- fied.
