Red wine got a boost when its consump-
tion was related to reduced heart attack
risks due to resveratrol, an ingredient in
the skin of the red grape. It is now believed that you can
get the' same benefit by drinking red grape juice if you'd
rather not drink wine.
If you are told to take a drug on an empty stomach and
take it with food instead, what happens? The amount of
drug absorbed will not be as high as it would be if taken
without food.
People sometimes use fizzy ginger ale to relieve nausea.
However, the carbonation may cause bloating which may
increase the nausea. It's better to let the fizz die away
and drink it "flat". Eating dry crackers will also help.
Ear wax build-up isn't a problem for most people since
the ear canal Ls basically self-cleaning. However, some
amt's wax does accumulate and causes hearing prob-
lems. Don't use cotton -tipped swaps to "dig it out" or
anything fuzzy in the ears. We have non-prescription
solutions to ear wax problems. If they don't work, see
your doctor.
