Willi Laurie favoured everyone with a solo. Flowers placed in the Church were in loving memory of Faith Taylor. The community's thoughts and prayers go to her family. Happy birthday wishes go to Danny Keys,Jon Steenbeek, Sharon Chuter and Marg Hayter. Happy anniversary to Klass aitd Sjoukj.e Steenbeek. The Plowing Match Choir practice will be held at Northside United Church at -7:30p.m. on August 18. On August 26 the Varna U.C.W. are going to the Blue Fountain for dinner and then. :to the Blyth Festival to see `Every Dream' by James W. Nichol. Members are to meet at the church at -51 p.m. Volunteer drivers are needed. Call Mona Stephenson or Shirley Hill for more information. On September 13 there will be a Board meeting•# at Goshen United Church at 8 p.tn. On September 19 there will be a s, Congregational meeting for Goshen following the service. The church service will be held in Goshen on August 22 and 29. There will a Squirt boys 4 Y tournament at the Varna ball diamond on Friday night and Saturday . Come and cheer these teams on. The Annual Multi Family Yard Sale will be held September 4 and 5 at the Complex again this year. So don't throw out that junk that could be somebody's treasure.
