combined Church Service
was held in Varna on
Sunday with -Elly Van
Bergen giving the Call to
Worship. Willi Laurie
favoured everyone with a
solo. Flowers placed in
the Church were in loving
memory of Faith Taylor.
The community's
thoughts and prayers go
to her family.

The Plowing Match
Choir practice will be
held at Northside United
Church at -7:30p.m. on
August 18.
On August 26 the Varna
U.C.W. are going to the
Blue Fountain for dinner
and then. :to the Blyth
Festival to see `Every
Dream' by James W.
Nichol. Members are to
meet at the church at -51
p.m. Volunteer drivers
