The sisters decided to
set up shop in Exeter, over
Hensall because -they
thought there would be
more demand here.
"There is more traffic
here and we'll probably.
get a lot more walk=ins,"
said Perry.
The building they are
located in .is also owned
by Perry's. husband's
grandmother so it quick-
ened their search for a
suitable store. -.
The women spent
aihost a month preparing
'and decorating their
beauty, shop before open-
ing their doors to the pub-
lic.

EXETER -- A minia-
ture of the Exeter Old
Town Hall will greet vis-
itors to the International
Plowing Match near
Dashwood Sept. 21-25.
Information booths at
the four main gates will
be miniatures of the
Exeter Town Hall and
the information booth in
Celebration Square will
be a miniature of the
Grand Bend lighthouse.
Arnold Mathers of
Exeter chaired the pro-
ject which came togeth-
er with a large amount
of volunteer effort.
Michael Van Raay of
MVR Designs created the
design for the struc-
tures. Dave Newton and
Harry Brooks of Exeter
with the help of Bob
Smith of London con-
structed the booths.
Perry is confident their
.ability to offer a wide
range of beauty service,
including massages, will
attract Customers.

"You can get everything
done under one roof with
one appointment."
Perry, .a mother of two,
is excited about the new
venture because she finds
it "more professional"
than her home salon.
"I really Iove it and my
kids are old . enough now
that I don't have to be
home all the time," she
said.
"I'm also not finding my
perm rollers in kids beds
anymore," she joked.
The pair plan to pro-
mote their new business
with flyers, restaurant
place mat ads and
through ,a Yellow Page
listing.
