President Fern Dougall wel- comed members and guests and the Mary Stewart Collect was said. Plans were made to attend the Tweedsmuir Workshop in Springfield on August 5. After the meeting, the members filled their allotment of hostess bags for the I.P.M. with gifts and crafts which they had donated. '1'he Huron W.I. is providing 500 - bags and each branch is responsible for some. The rest of the afternoon was spent in fun and games and ended with a pot luck supper. The Exeter Mites girls fastball team wound up the 'A' runners-up at the recent league playoff tournament in Fullarton.
