Bylaw No. 34-99 passed on July 27, 1099 sets out a range of charges to be cbilected from new residential development. The monies collected are used by the municipality to pay for services provided by the Township. • There are two different rate charge areas - within the area of the former Village of Lucan and the remainder of the Township. A key map is not provided as these areas are self explanatory. The .following charges are imposed under the bylaw against a single family detached or duplex type development. Charges for other types of residential development vary according to expected occupancy levels. Under Section 14 of the Act, any person or organization may appeal the bylaw to the Ontario Municipal Board by filing with the Clerk of the Municipality a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the bylaw and the reasons supporting the objection.
