Resources and was- successful in receiving a 50 per
cent grant for the $78,000 project. Scott admits the
Authority was pleasantly surprised to receive the grant
so soon since projects are often on a list for a few years
before funding is received.
The Town of Exeter and the ABCA's general levy will
paid the other half of the project costs. For nearly 40
years, the town was a partner in the dam which was
built 40 years ago to supply water for the canning fac-
tory in Exeter.
Scott expects the construction will take six weeks to
complete.
