Th
armed robberS held an
Exeter family at gunpoint
last Thursday.
OPP Const. Doug
Graham said police will
not release the name of
the William St. family,
and only confirmed a
man, woman and two
small children were held
during the robbery.
He said the ordeal only
lasted for about five min-
utes after the disguised
robbers entered the
home just before 1 a.m.
The thieves first
' demanded cash but'set-
tied for a coin collection
after money wasn't pro-
duced.
They then fled the.
scene in a car.
Graham said detectives
have been called in to
investigate the incident.
He speculated it was
unlikely the robbery was
random.
"That would be totally
unusual for Exeter," he
said.
