Ear was helps. protect again dust and
other irritants. It doesn't cause problems
too often but if too much builds up, put a couple drops
of warm olive oil in the ear then using a bulb syringe,
flush the ear gently with warm water. Avoid. "ear can-
dling" where a small cone is inserted in the ear and lit.
It is ineffective and can be dangerous.
(twos back in 1908 that barium was first used to diag-
nose
iagnose stomach problems. The patient swallows a barium
meal which being opaque to x-rays clearly outlines the
stomach and possible ulcers.
If you are supposed to take your medication with meals
and have to miss a meal, take your medication anyway.
Take it with more water and a small snack if possible,
but don't miss the dose.
Some antibiotics and anticonvulsant medication may
interfere with the efficacy of birth control pills. Some
penicillins and sulfa drugs can cause this problem. It is
best to use an alterative method of contraception in
addition to the pill during the cycle you are using these
drugs.
