GRANTON - Congratulations from the Granton area
community to Bob and Elizabeth Gtrett who cele-
brated :their 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday,
July 3.
The Biddulph 150th celebration committee met at
the township office in Lucan on Monday evening,
July 5 to make further plans.
Please note that the Logo contest has been extend-
ed to any student living in Biddulph Township, to be
left at the township office by Friday, Jul y 16. Top
prize is a CD player.
'Warm up' pork and beef barbecue
Also, advance tickets for the 'Warm up to 150th'
pork and beef barbecue at the Granton Park Pavilion
on Saturday, July 24 are available at the Granton
Post Office, from correspondent Muriel Lewis at 225-
2578, or any committee member.
Successful baseball tourney
Granton Minor baseball wishes to thank everyone
who came out to play and support the tournament
on June 25 and 26. It was a great success and funds
raised were nearly $1,400.

At the Granton United church on Sunday, July 11,
Lay Pastor Val Hodgins entitled her message, `Mom
always liked you best' based on the lessons from
Genesis 25 and Romans 8.
Services for Wesley and .Granton are being held at
Granton in July at 11 a.m. and at Wesley in August
at 9:45 a.m.
The breakfast and service in the park with Bob
Heywood as guest is Sunday, July 25. Breakfast 8 to
9 a•m., service at 10 a.m.
At St. Paul's Anglican Church, Klrkton with St.
James, St. Marys in attendance on Sunday, July 11,

STAFFA - Sarah Elliott visited on the weekend with
her parents Glen and Cathie Elliott and also attended
the festivities In Mitchell along with Sarah Birtles,
Winston Chong, Sal Birritteri, James Simpson, Dave
Nodioell, Pierre D'Angelis, Rod Pell, Ulad Carelli and
Alex Morassut.
Darlene, Sean and Meaghan Ellison visited with
John and Roberta Templeman on Tuesday.
John and Roberta Templeman attended the 50th
wedding anniversary party for Oliver and Lauren
McIntosh at the Kirkton Community Centre on
Friday evening.
