(27*) 102 Deaths FINLAYSON - On June 30, 1999, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Irene (Volland) Finlayson, of Hensall, in :her 90th year. Beloved mother of Reg & Ina of Seaforth, Laird and Ruby of Kippen, Garry and Irene of Egmondville, Murray and Carol of Exeter and Bryan and Brenda of Walton. Fondly remembered by 17 grandchildren- and 28 great- grandchildren. Also survived by one sister, Beatrice Taylor of Clinton, two brothers, Clarence Volland of Hensall and Bruce Volland of Sarnia, sister-in-law, Jean Volland of Goderich and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lorne (1989), two great- granddaughters, Hailie Van Miltenburg and Taylor McGavin, her parents, Henry and Elizabeth (Albrecht) Volland, sister, Vera Johnston, sister-in-law, Aldeen Volland, and brothers-in-law, Louis Taylor and Eldon Johnston. Family received freinds at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, Seaforth, where the funeral service was held on July 3, 1999. Rev. Doreen Canavan officiated. Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth. Pallbearers were Scott Finlayson, Mark Finlayson, Michael Finlayson, Ronald Finlayson, Randy Finlayson and Brad Carnochan. Fiowerbearers were Sue Anne VanMiltenburg, Bonnie Hastings and Karen Braecker. Memorial donations to Brucefield United Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation and South Huron Hospital, Exeter (Palliative Care)• were accepted as expressions of sympathy. (27) 102 Deaths CHAPPEL - Suddenly, as a result of an accident at London Health Sciences Centre, South Campus, London, Ontario on July 1, 1999. Alvin James Chappel of RRI Woodham in his 59th year. Beloved son of the late Lois Marie (Docking) and Wilbert Chappel. Dear brother of Ina (Mrs. Charles Webber) of Hensall, Ken and Marion of Stratford, Harold and Sharon of Exeter, Lois (Mrs. Edwin Baillie) of Seaforth, Gordon and Joyce of Stratford, Wayne and Dorothy of Exedter, Faye Kramer of London and David and Debra of Woodham. Sadly missed and always remembered by his aunts and by many nieces and nephews. Dear father of Albert Pepper and his friend Barb of London and Audrey and Robert Haugh of Exeter. Dear grandfather of Terry Haugh and his wife Elaine, Shane Pepper, Tara papper and James Clarke. Also survived by 2 great- grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter. Dear brother of Clifford and Laura Pepper of Dashwood, Viola Taylor of Seaforth, Edith and Percy Rutter of Bloomfield, Eleanor Falconer of Clinton and Gladys and Bill Riehl of Clinton. Milt (27*) COOPER - I would like to thank you for coming to my Retirement Social on June 13th, I was overwhelmed with all the best wishes, flowers, gifts and cards I received. Special thanks to Huron Centennial Staff i for planning my Social and all those that played the piano. Also many thanks to School Advisory Council, Board Office Gals, students of H.C.S., my family and friends. As I leave Huron Centennial School after 21 years I have many memories - that I will cherish forever. Thank you.
