at Bu;% 'v Nationals in Ohio
COLUMB1 910 -- Paul McInnis made his
Grand h, ,otorplex racing buddies proud by
a top finis« dt the Buick Nationals event at •
Columbus, Olio's National Trail track.
Dashwood's McInnis placed third out of 72
cars in the '12 second' class, otherwise known
as pro class here. He raced his '64 Buick Skylark
down the track in 12.24 and 108 mph.
McInnis's wife Shelley, also a racer, said this

Masters blanked by Croatia
LONDON - The Exeter Masters men's soccer
team broke down in the second half to lose 4-0
to the host Croatia squad Friday night.
It was a 0-0 tie at the half but Exeter couldn't
keep one of the best teams in the league off the
scoresheet.
"A few bad breaks against up opened the
floodgates," Exeter spokesperson Brad Lightfoot
said.
The Masters, who have yet to win a game this
season, next host London Curinga July 9 at the
Lucan soccer pitches at 7 p, n.

"It showed we can play
with the medium part of
the Premier Division."
The Cents arelhe walk-

players nursing nagging
injuries. The most major
injury is to Mike
Flanagan who is still out
with a broken nose.
Playing three games in
eight days has taken its
toll on the Cents;
Rasenberg said the two
week layoff the team has
till a road game versus
London Porto on July 10
is just what the doctor
ordered, adding the. team
