Dashwood's McInnis placed third out of 72 cars in the '12 second' class, otherwise known as pro class here. He raced his '64 Buick Skylark down the track in 12.24 and 108 mph. McInnis's wife Shelley, also a racer, said this was the first time they've raced at the Ohio track. The Buick Nationals attract Buick -lovers from throughout North America. The McInnises also race a '69 Buick Skylark convertible. Convertible dragsters are rare.
