At the Granton United Church on Sunday, June POLICE BRIEFS - Break and enter GRAND BEND =-- The North Lambton OPP are investigating a break in that occurred at Sandles Restaurant on Main St. between midnight and 8:30 a.m. on June 17. After forcing opening the front door of the business, thieves opened the cash register inside the premis- es and stole an undis- closed amount of money. The damage to the restau- rant is estimated to be $200. Police believe the incident is related' to a break in at Jack Spratt's Subs. Wednesday. Bob Bell and Harry Smith 'received the offering. Next Sunday, communion will be served. The flowers in the church were in honour of the 50th anniversary of Donna and Harry Smith. Mrs. George Smith of Portland, Oregon and Gail Williamson of Tuscon, Arizona, visited Donna and Harry Smith en Thursday. On Saturday evening, Donna and Harry Smith were honoured with a din- ner party at n's in Bruceiie. On Sunday an open house was held as the home of Jerry and Kirsten in Exp`. Hensall residents are reminded of the re-insta*nt of green. waste collection in the Village. All the previous green waste collection guidelines apply. Green waste must be in cardboard boxes, or containers that can be dumped. Green waste will be collected July 5, August 3, September 7 and October 4. Questions regarding the collection can be directed to the Municipal Office, 262-2812. Registration for the Hensall Summer Playground Program will take place at the Hensall Council Chambers on June 24. Parents can register children ages four to 12 for the five week program between 7 and 9 p.m. Swimming regis- tration will also be done at this time.
