Saddle club back in town
EXETER • After many
years, Exeter Rec Board has
invited the Exeter Saddle
Club back to the Exeter
recreation complex here in
town.
With the return of the
Exeter Rodeo it would be
appropriate to have a group
utilize and maintain the
existing grounds for more of
the summer season.
Exeter Saddle Club has
returned to Exeter, marking
its 50th anniversary as a reg-
istered club in the Exeter
area.
May 16 at 10 a.m. will be
the first official show In
which load horse enthusiasts
will participate.
Spectators are welcome to
share in the excitement of
the competition and support
the local riders. •

Hurricanes land in London
LONDON The Huron
Hurricanes who are age 13 or
_oyer and who have achieved
'A' qualifying times attended a
meet in London called the
Hollandia Invitational.
'A' qualifying times are the
top 10 per cent of swims for
the preceding year. Those in

Datema, Meghan Morris,

the 200 m butterfly and filth in

Meghan Morris placed eighth

200 breaststroke, and the 200
backstroke. He placed eighth
in the 100 breaststroke. Scott
-McNichol placed fifth in the
200 m breaststroke and sixth
in the 100 metre breaststroke.
