As We Sow Even now it is time to plant our seeds in the sweet-smelling good earth, believing as we sow, even so shall we reap. First we must plant five rows of "peas" - pre- paredness, promptness, perseverance, politeness and prayer. Next we will plant three rows of "squash" - squash gossip, squash criticism, and squash indifference. Then we shall plant four rows of "lettuce" - let us be faithful, let us be loyal, let us be true, let us love one another. No garden is complete. without ``turnips" - so let us turn up with a smile, turn up for church, turn up with a new idea, and turn up with real determi- nation to do some good and make the world a bet- ter place to live in.
