Brussels Livestock Sales report
The total receipts at
Brussels Livestock for the
week ending April 23 were
3601 cattle and 294 lambs
and goats. Fed steers,
heifers, cows and bulls trad-
ed on a good steady trade.
On Thursday the veal sold
at prices $2-$3 lower. The
lambs traded on a strong
active trade. Stocker steers
sold at prices $2 higher with
the yearlings selling steady
to last week.
There were 390 steers on
offer selling from 93.00-
97.00 to the high of 109.00.
One limo steer consigned
by Johnston Farms,
Bluevale weighing 1300 lbs.
sold to Norwich Packers for
108.75 with the overall
offering of 48 steers averag-
ing 1411 lbs. selling for an
average of 95.27.
One gold steer consigned

Report for Tuesday, April 21. The market at Dentleld Livestock traded on a good
demand at steady prices on the good and fancy well fed cattle with American type and
plainer end of the grades trading easier. Cows traded fully steady, stockers were
strong, veal steady, pigs, sows and boars steady.
Ross Duff, Croton, sold 6 steers, average weight 1441, average price 98.63 with sales
to 110.00 purchased by Carl Russnell for M.G.1.P.

I have used both Roundup Original and TOUCHDOWN. I am very
pleased with TOUCHDOWN because I have gotten better results.
By that, I mean that 1 have seen a greater percentage of my quackgrass
killed. 1 consider TOUCHDOWN to be a superior product. 99
