Skylar VanOsch and Heidi Klopp won bronze in all -
Ontario pre -juvenile dance pairs in Stirling last
month.VanOsch, representing Exeter Figure Skating
Club, and Klopp, representing Zurich Figure Skating
Club, were among the top nine teams in the province
vying for the championship.VanOsch and Klopp made
it to the provincial championships by finishing first at
H.O.M.E. competition in StThomas and placing third

players honoured
EXETER — The Exeter Legion
Youth Dart League held their
annual awards night last week at the Legion.
Award winners are: Jenn Wigle -tyke giris
champ; Cody Richards -tyke boys champ;
Christina Steuer-jr. girls champ; Robert
Morneau-jr. boys champ; April Wood -tyke girls
most takeouts; Tim Sheridan -tyke boys most
takeouts; Candice Sheridan jr. girls most
takeouts; Robert Morneau-jr. boys most
takeouts; Thomas Wood -highest takeout;
Charles Lesperance-best sportsmanship.
Thirteen league members competed in the
Legion District 'C' Dart Tournament in Listowel
on March 28. Local winners were Thomas Wood
(1st place tyke boys singles), April Wood (2nd
place tyke girls singles) and Robert Morneau
(4th place sr. boys singles).
School field sports season
set to begin tomorrow
EXETER — Let the grass stains begin.
The high school field sports season takes off
tomorrow with the South Huron District High
School junior and senior boys rugby teams
hosting Petrolia at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
respectively.
The girls team and the seniors will host St.
Marys on Monday at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The boys and girls soccer season is expected to
begin next week but final schedules were not
available at press.
Pro soccer wannabees wanted
LONDON — So you think you can .play
professional soccer. The London City Soccer
Club wants you to prove it.
London City Soccer Club is holding open
tryouts on Sunday, 4 p.m., at the Cove Road
Field behind the German Canadian Club. The
club is located at 1 Cove Rd. off Wharncliffe Rd.
S. south of the Horton St. Exetension.
Players have to bring a black and a white T-
shirt, black shorts, white socks, soccer shoes.
and running shoes.
London City Soccer Club belongs to the
Canadian Professional Soccer League that also
has teams in the Toronto area, Mississauga and
St. Catharines.
