Two chairs and a table
EXETER - Two folding chairs and a table may not
seem enough to create the atmosphere for an
evening of entertainment. However, when combined
with enthusiastic and dedicated actors and the audi-
ence's individual and collective imaginations, the
total effect is a stunning and memorable perfor-
mance.
On Friday at 8 p.m., an international drama group,
The Covenant Players are coming to the Exeter
Christian Reformed Church to present by way of
drama the theme: "Living a Christian Life Today".
They will investigate some of the daily challenges
Christians face as well as celebrate the joy that such
a life brings.
"The Covenant Players" were founded in 1963, by
Charles M. Tanner,m American Diplomat and world
renowned playwright. The group's repertoire has
grown to more than 3,000 plays, performed by 125
teams in 90 countries and 25 languages worldwide:
The mission of this non-profit organization is to
communicate the Lord Jesus Christ through the
medium of drama and through the discussion of var-
ious relevant themes.
All are welcome to this .special event. For more
information, call the Exeter Christian Reformed
Church office at 235-2990. Nursery will be provided
and refreshments and dessert will follow the pro-
gram. A free will offering will be taken.
