SEWAGE WORKS EXPANSION
PROJECT NO. 92169
CONTRACT NO. 1
SEALED TENDERS, addressed to Rick Hundey, CAO, Town
of Exeter, Box 759, 322 Main Street, Exeter, Ontario, NOM
1S6, will be received by him at the above location until:
4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 1999
for the construction of the works described below.
The work consists generally of the supplying of
materials, labour and equipment for, and the construction
of an expansion to the existing sewage treatment facilities
including a new conventional earth lagoon cell and four
intermittent slow sand filter cells, a filter pumping station,
filter distribution and collection piping, modifications to,
and cleanout of sludge from the existing lagoon cells,
expansion of the existing aeration and chemical treatment
systems, expansion of the existing blower building,
upgrading of the existing William Street Sewage Pumping
Station, including new preselected pumps and standby
power, miscellaneous yard piping, structures and site work,
along with associated mechanical, electrical and control
systems.
Plans, specifications and tender forms may be obtained
at the office of the undersigned tv )ayment of a non-
refundable fee of $100.00. This fee includes all taxes.
A certified cheque in the amount of $240,000 must
accompany each bid.
