Sales at Brussels Livestock
for the week ending March
12, 1999.
Fed cattle 738; Cows: 210
Veal & Bob Calves: 390;
Lambs & Goats: 442
Stockers: 1369
The fed steers and heifers
sold $1-$2 higher. Cows
sold on a strong trade. Veal
sold $2-$3 higher. The
lambs sold on a very strong
active trade. On Friday all
weights of stocker cattle
sold on a strong active mar-
ket.
There were 466 steers on
offer; selling from 91.00 to
95.00tothe top of103.75

The market at Denfield
traded at a very active
demand at prices $2.00 to

orders were strong at prices

sold strong at higher prices.
Stockers sold strong, veal
steady, sows, pigs and boars
were steady.
