Fed cattle 738; Cows: 210 Veal & Bob Calves: 390; Lambs & Goats: 442 Stockers: 1369 The fed steers and heifers sold $1-$2 higher. Cows sold on a strong trade. Veal sold $2-$3 higher. The lambs sold on a very strong active trade. On Friday all weights of stocker cattle sold on a strong active mar- ket. There were 466 steers on offer; selling from 91.00 to 95.00tothe top of103.75 t Five steers consigned by David Bowles, Brussels averaging 1428 lbs. sold for an average of 97.97 with two gold steers ave. 1380 selling for 103.75 and was purchased by Norwich Packers. American orders were strong at prices $2.00 to $3.00 higher. Cows sold strong at higher prices. Stockers sold strong, veal steady, sows, pigs and boars were steady. Brad Scott, Lucan sold 4 head average weight 1356, average price 99.02 with sales to 107.50 purchased by Norwich Packers. Don Eedy and Mark Vanderploeg, Denfield sold 10 heifers average weight 1342, average price 96.59 with sales to 100.87. Frank Nemcek, Alvinston sold 7 head average weight 1293, average price 94.57.
