Of note: Drummond did not claim any meal/travel/lodgings costs; Hoogenboom, Triebner and Urlin did not cost the town anything in conference reg- istration. More Block Parents needed EXETER — Block Par- ent co-ordinator Lois Gobolt says Block Par- ents are needed in Exet- er. Block Parent homes have -three main purpos- es. They are a safe ref- uge for children, seniors and teens when a need arises for help if they are bothered by strang- .ers, or are sick, injured, being bullied, Lost, alarmed by animals or caught in severe weath- er conditions. A Block Parent sign in the window lets children know that a safe strang- er or Block Parent is home to provide help. All Block Parent appli- cants are screened by the police before a sign is issued to them. A recent survey of Block Parents revealed there have not been any incidents in Exeter re- cently but Godbolt said it is still important to have more Block Parents. to ensure the community safe. If you are irit6rested in becoming a Block Par- ent, call Godbolt at 235- 0691. } :2Z1:om r eneratibh, resp h retail tiles and set vice.
