SAINTSBURY - St. Patrick's Church celebrated
their Evening Prayer Service on January 30 at 7
p.m.
Rose Cunningham led the service from the Book of
Alternative Services.
The message was based on the scripture readings
given by Corbin and Courtney MacGillivray.
The children's focus was entitled "Learning how
to recognize and respond to God's wisdom."
A get well prayer was given, remembering Cathy
Johnson, daughter-in-law of Bill and Betty Johnson,
former members of the community. She is a patient
in the Owen Sound Hospital.
The Rev. Stanley Jay will be at St. Patrick's
Church on February 7 at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate
the Holy Eucharist.
Ron and Margaret -Carroll were visitors Thursday
with Mary Davis and Gote Wennerstrom at the
Exeter Villa and Saturday evening guests with
Arnold and Rose Cunningham.
The Cunninghams were dinner guests Sunday
with their son Ed and daughter-in-law Penny and
grandson Craig at their farm near Ingersoll.
Travis and Starr Davis were weekend guests with
aunt and uncle Dorothy and Bob Dietrich of Zurich.
Suzanne Davis visited with grandmother Mary
Davis on Tuesday and enjoyed lunch with her moth-
er Dorothy Dietrich at the Blue Water Rest Home in
Zurich.

Jennifer Alderdice.

Pirie Mitchell. The
annual meeting will be
on February 14 after the
morning service. Ai
potluck lunch will be.
held.
The Hensall and
District Horticultural
Society will hold their
annual meeting on
February 15 at 7:30
p.m. at the Queensway
Home. This is an impor-
tant meeting as the new
executive will be sworn
in.
The evening will also
include a preview of the
coming year, and a sign -
up session so members
can choose- which com-
mittee they will volun-
teer for during the year.
