CREDITON - Reports

year in 1998, not only
financially, but in the
number of members and
adherents in participa-
tion.
The youth group under
the direction of Cathy and
Gary Skinner was very
active. The young people
donated $391.58 to the
Huron Christmas Bureau
and in addition collected
food and held a 24 hour
famine and toonie hinch
which realized net pro-
ceeds of $463.33. They
also contributed $276 to
the church sanctuary
access fund.
On behalf of the
trustees, Larry Ratz
reported that much of the
tower repairs had been
completed at a cost of
$35,000 with the balance

Benefits of vocal aerobics
SEAFORTH — Harmony Inc.'s Seaforth Harmony
Hi-Lites chorus has set Tues., Jan. 19 at 7:45 p.m.
for ' the start of a four -session series called Vocal
Aerobics to be held at Seaforth Public School, 144
Market St. in Seaforth.
The workshops, which are free of charge, will run
for an hour and will include mild physical exercises
geared to increasing breath control, along with
vocal work-outs and learning a new song.
According to Gail Moffett, Seaforth Harmony Hi-
Lites president, the Vocal Aerobics program offers
excellent health benefits.
"Learning to sing properly is 'heart -smart'" she
says. "It stimulates adrenaline production, can be
used as a mild aerobic exercise, develops good pos-
ture, offers stress relief and can be a productive
leisure activity. It's healthy and ft's fun!"
The 25 -member Harmony Hi-Lites is a chapter of
Harmony, Inc., an international organization of
women barbershop singers and has been entertain-
ing in the area for 15 years. Hi-Lites come from
across Huron and Perth Counties and car-pooling
