LUCAN BIDDULPH — It's a brand
new year and a brand new start for
Lucan Biddulph Township.

The former Lucan municipal
building will likely be put up for sale
soon, Lucan Biddulph. chief admin-
istrative officer Ron Reymer said.
He did not know what the building
could sell for.
The profit from the building sale
would go into general accounts and
might be used to offset severance
packages offered to the three laid
off former employees.
Lucan public works superinten-
dent Doug Johnston, village deputy
tax collector Linda Hackney and
Biddulph administrator Larry
Hotson were laid off at the end of
last year.
Two of the three former employ-
ees had their severance packages
finalized in an in -camera session at
Last week's meeting. Those pack-
ages will together cost no more Pa
than $160,000. m
Reymer said the severances are ev lar .to others offered in the pub- to
lic .and private sectors and are cal- Robe
culated using years of service and, lo
age factors. Cas
