The Exeter Novice A/E hockey team won the the Exeter Minor HockeyAssociation Novice A/E tournament Dec. 30 at South Huron Rec Centre. Exeter won the 'A' final 2-1 over St. Marys in overtime. Harrigan and Geoffrey scored Exeter's goals with assists by Green, Oud, Overholt and Mudge. Harrigan was named game MVP. Exeter blanked Ilderton 4-0 in the semi-final, Overholt notching two goals with Harrigan and Green adding singles.Assists were given to Mudge with two, Ellison, Harrigan andGeoffrey. Overholt was the;game MVP. Exeter won their first game over Bayfield 2-1 in overtime.Tim Burtch scored both Exeter goals with Oud, Overholt and Mudge getting assists. Osgood was in net for all of Exeter's wins.
