approved the amalgama-
tion of North Lambton
amd Grand Bend, who did
not want to join, was
forced to amalgamate
with Bosanquet,
Thedford, Arkona and
Forest to form a new
municipality called North
Lambton.
* Aimee Payne, 10, and
her brother Scott, 12,
were hit accidentally/by a•
motorist driving along
Ilwy.4 south of Exeter'.
Aimee was pronounced
dead at the scene and
Scott was take to London
Ilealth Sciences Centre.

clothing caused the acci-

boxes were collected by
South Huron students to
send to Central America.
The devastation of hurri-
cane Mitch has left many
kids without Christmas
presents this year and
South Huron students
responded with the boxes.
* After getting approval
from the Ministry of
Natural Resources, the
Pinery Provincial Park
was able to begin a deer
cull on Monday to dual
with the overpopulation
of white-tailed doer. The
cull Is being carried out
by 20 first nation shooters
as well as.support staff
from the park.
* Birnam Excavating of
Forest has won the con-
tract for the sewer work
in the Dow subdivision in
Exeter. The firm had the
lowest bid and will begin
work at .the end of the
week.
