Counterfeit bills with the same serial number have
since turned up In Barrie, Oxford County, North Ray
and Peel Region.
Graham said the easiest way to Identity a counterfeit

* Exeter has gone public with its plan to sell its land-
fill site to Huron County for 52.1 million. If sold, the
landfill could become the site for garbage from several
Huron municioalit•

* A fire at Huron Park's Accumold caused at least
S80 000 damage early Monday morning. The Stephen
Township firefighters were called out to the OM and
battled the blaze for four hours. The factory was not
occupied and nobody was hurt.
* April 3 is daffodil day in Exeter. The Canadian
Cancer Society's annual major fundraising campaign
begins with Daffodil day on April in Exeter. Daffodil
bunches are S4 each.
*,Clarence Haskett has won the Citizenship Award
from the Lucan Citizenship Committee. He was the
Lucan Lions founding president and is now its 50th.

CI:NTRALIA — .Thieves showed their own kind of
Christmas cheer at Centralia Faith Tabernacle Church
on Sunday.
London OPP Const. Doug Graham said a door was
piled open at the church and a small quantity of cash
was stolen between 2-8 p.m.
First snowfall

FOREST — The North Lambton OPP was busy during
the first major snowfall of '98.
Officers were called to 10 property damage acci-
dents, three personal injury accidents, six non -
reportable accidents and nine cars in the ditch.
Motorists are reminded to stow down when the
weather turns nasty and keep a greater distance from
the vehicle in front of you. At intersections, start to
slow down- sooner and when taking off gradually
increase the acceleration.
