A very long time ago. a
very tragic thing hap-
pened when Santa .got
stuck in the chimney. It all
started on a very busy
night at the North Pole
while the .elves, were
almost done the toys and
Mrs. Clause 'was bus) get-
ting Santa's clothes ready
for his journey.
When the toys were
done. Santa went outside
and got the reindeer
ready. When everything
'was ready to go. Santa
went off on his journey.
When he was leaving,
Mrs. Clause and all the
elves were waving at him.
%hen he got to the first
house. he got his bag and
gotout of the sleigh and
went down the chimney.
When he got -in the room,
he put the toys under the
tree and then went back
up the chimney and then
jumped back' into his
sleigh.
When he finally got to
the last house it had a
very small chimney so he
tried to go down it and got
halfway down. Then he
gut stuck. lie did not want
to yell because he did not
want to wake the people
in the house. fie waited
about an hour -then fell
asleep by 60). The people

from the house woke up
and realized that they did
not have. any .presents.
Then Santa awoke and
heard all the talking so he
said "Yelp". One of the
children said, "What are
you doing here?"
They helped Santa go
down and then Santa told
them the whole story.
After he told them, he
gave the children their
presents then went back
to the North Pole.
