Vixen's Fear of
Heights
Molly Nreenian
Blddulph Central
My job as one of
Santa's reindeer can be
interesting, but the only
problem is 1 was afraid of
heights. My name Is Vixen ,
and 1 am one of Santa's
. reindeer up at the North
Pole. 1 first started being
afraid of heights when 1
was just a small foal. My
mother took me to a small
cliff so 1 could look down
•
at the pond. As 1 got dos-
. er to it, 1 tripped over an
above -ground tree root
and tumbled off the -edge.
Good thing my mother
was there to save me.
Later that year there
was a reindeer meeting in
-the meadow. When 1 got
there 1 noticed that Santa
was there and all of a
sudden 1 knew what the
meeting was about.
"1 might as well leave,"
1 thought, and then all of
a sudden in a loud boom-
ing voice, "VIXEN."
Oh no, what was 1
going to do? 1t was my
turn but 1 was afraid of
heights!
Bravely, 1 walked up to
the flying ramp and
jumped. Before 1 even
knew 111 was dancing and
prancing through the sky,
and that's liow I over-
came my Beer of heights.
