Hawks lose 4-2 to Trojans, Irish take Thamesford 4-2

Hensall blipped by Radars

team were chipped 6-5 on Friday by their Ilwy 4
rivals and host, the Clinton Radars.
The Sherwoods played an -excellent game despite
the final score since only 13 players were dressed
due to injuries and the flu. •
llensatl fell 2-0 early in the first and allowed
another quick goal near the start of the second
before scoring four goals of their own while Clinton
scored three more to end•the period. with a 6-4 lead.
The; Sherwoods mananged to get back one goal in
the third. The post s turned ,out to be the Clinton
goaltender's best friends, denying two Ilensall goals
late in the third.
Scoring goals for Ilensall were Steve Schroeder.
, Jamie Vowels, Aaron Brooks and Brent Mills with a
pair.
Ilensall is sitting in fourth place in their division
-and are only four points out of third place and fire
points out of second.
The Sherwoods have two weeks off during the holi-
days which should allow for a healthy full roster
when they travel to Ripley to play Goderich on Jan. 2
at 8 p.m. liensall will need tl... rest since they play
nine times in January -
