Project Canshare is a
computerized station=
wide network that offers
lacy enforcement agen-•
cies information on the
nature of consumer
complaints, .types of
fraud, criminals involved
and their areas of spe-
cialization. -
Information in the
Canshare database will •
be used to help law
enforcetnent _agencies
catch criruinals.
It will also enable the
Ministry to distribute up-
to-date information to
Ontario news media
regarding scams -that
may .be on their wr+y
this province from other
jurisdictions.
