Charitable organizations
in the Village of Hensall
are reminded that appli-
cations for the .Province's
"Advance Funding.
Program" must _ be
received by December 15
at 5 p.m. Complete appli-
cations will be reviewed
by the, Hensall Village
Council, for a recommen-
dation to.the Province, for
funds disbursement.

Fire Department is cur-
rently accepting applica-

are advised that the fees
for dog registration have
changed for 1999: Pet
owners wishing to register.

Motorized, snow vehicles
in the village are prohibit-
ed from:. public sidewalks,
shoulders and boulevards.
It is requested the vehicles
by driven at the road side.
Also, snowmobiles are
restricted from private
property. Complete copies
of the by-law are available
at the Municipal Office.

who participated in last Wednesday's Travel and
Fashion Show at, the outh Huron Rec Centre.The
fa'shion show, a fund-raiser for the Exeter Precision
Skating Club, saw clothes modelled from RSD
Authentics, Designer's, MacLeans Source for Sports'
and European Addition. Skating Club co-chair Sandi
Smith said the fashion show is one of several fund-
raising initiatives the club holds each year, including
its NewYear's Eve dance and an adult competition in
February.There are aver 30 members in the club.
Ellison Travel was also involved in last week's event,
holding a mystery weekend getaway contest.

ning with the initiation of
12 members to the

Rowcliffe, -Betty Grenier,
Gary Kyle, Kathy Neilands
and Paul Ritichie were the
new members. Branch

Uyl'reported the Legion
had a successful Poppy
Campaign, "realizing a
total of $1612.36. We
thank once again all the
businesses, schools and
.the community without
whose help- this couldn't...
have happened. Motions
were made to make _.a
donation to the Adult Day
Centre, Huron safe
Homes, and the Childrens
Aid -Society. Christmas
Bureau. Provincial service
officer Randy

Branch on December 3 or

in the Employment
Insurance Fund; but have
some definite ideas about
how the money should be
distributed.

notifying Huron MP Paul

meeting at the F. E. Madill
Secondary School, that the
surplus in the fund should
be returned to those who
paid it in the first place -
business and employees.
