spire work has taken place in Usborne Township
during the threshing, season. At one place where
Mr. Chester, Gravett'was threshing; half of a horse-

was found 'before it went through the separator. A
short time later on another farm, another part of a'
'horseshoe was discovered under similar circum-
stances. At a third threshing spot, a piece of sulky
rake tooth got by the thresher's and broke the con-

Principal's note
oncreforcelled lassand semester.
• Guidance teachers, school resource teachers and
the school librarian will not be assigned full-time to
these areas which means students may have less
contact with these teachers or students may see
other teachers working in these areas.
• One new math teacher will be added to our staff
bringing the teaching staff total to 49.33 teachers.
• A period of adjustment will occur as teachers get
to know.their new classes and courses. Marks to
date, lesson plans, .class lists. attendance records,
etc. will all be given to the teacher picking up the
new course from the teacher who has had it so far
this. semester.
Supply teachers will no longer be hired, instead
we will assign teachers on our staff to cover absent
teachers' classes. All classes will continue to be
taught for the full period when teachers are away.
As 39; teachers are having their timetables altered
it is likely that most students will have some sort of
change in their timetable.
It is highly unusual to re -do the timetable of a•
school in mid-October; however, every effort has
been made to minimize the effects on student learn-
ing. As students' timetables are adjusted, they will
receive a new printed copy of it. Students are
strongly encouraged to take these copies home for
parents to see.
As always if you have any questions or concerns
please call me at the school; 235-0880.
