.couple posts each game. they're putting it in."

peewee, two bantam and
'one midget team. There
will also be two 'girls
teams, a junior and senior.
I(egistration rests at 182
(157; boys, 27 girls)., -Last
season registration totalled
172 (133 boys, 39 girls).
Stephen Minor Hockey
president Bev 'Thompson
said three girls, the Cronyn
sisters and Skye Pfaff, will
play with the boys this sea-
son.
Thompson said the drop
in girls registration can be
partly' explained by
Exeter's expanding girls
• program and more
Bluewater A/AA teams.
The increase in boys reg-
istraticin• is due to .a 20 -
player strong severi-year-
olds .registration (""That's
'nice for years to come")
and several 11111'011 -Perth
AAA players have returned
to Stephen due to some
AAA teams from last year
not being offered this sea-
son. •
"We should have some
good strength in our reap_
teains," 'Thompson said.
Speaking of rep. play,
'98/99 will mark the sec -
and year in the Shamrock
League Int Stephen. While
the association didn't bring
-home any Shamrock titles,
Thompson, said they were
competitive in most -divi-
sions.
Thompson said this
year's goal is to put in
another strong showing in
the Shamrock- League
which every team will
"shoot for the upper hall"
of the standings. •
