Centralia resident hopes to "revolutionize" industry

in -February 1997 when he w.ls lick-
ing an envelope at a hank nlachlnu
one night. Not liking the- taste. he
started thinking of how to make the
glue Lisle better. He says the en-
velopes could he ay adablc in any
trait flavor and possible a mint Ila-,.

. Gibson says he had teen thinking
of invention idea+. ever since he

Brasse exhibit in Lucan Friday
I I1CAN -- London artist Johan Brasse will let
Lucan-area art lovers have. a sneak peak into his
world at an exhibition at the Ausable Centre open-
ing Friday. •.• .
Brasse will he on hand: during .the opening re-
ception from 7-11) rim. on Friday. The cxhibif runs
nil Sept. 30. •
The exhibit wilt feature 30 of Brasses works that
Tin a wide array of disciplines. -He-has apprenticed
:in architectural draftsman and has developed
,kills in woodcarving -and casting. As an apprentice
chef. Brasse has won several competitions fur his
ice, chocolate -and lard sculptures: He has made ink
sketches. pastel -works and sculptures.
Brasse also has an engraving and etching business
:which has produced many delicately engraved glass
gifts for a variety of customers..
Born in the Netherlands. •Brasse immigrated W
Canada in 1954. Re has travelled throughout Ru -n. '
rope and worked alongside many. fine artists. -
