There has been mach in the news recently
about erectile dysfunction. the incidence of this
sexual problem is about 5% in men under 40,
increasing to 75% by the age of 80. The star-
tling news is that only 1% of men ask for help. if you have this
problem, talk to your doctor. There's help out there.
The macula,: the' most light-serisitive -portion of the retina of the
eye, deteriorates with age. The cbnditio,n is called macular degen-
eration, How -to lower, the risk of this . happening to you? Don't
smoke; protect your ees from the sun, eat lots'of fruits and veg-
gies. Oh yes, a glass of wine daily, is purported to help.
By the way, the. retina covers only about one square inch of the
back of the, eye but it contains over 130 million light-sensitive,
cells. • - 1
